An established success noted for blending the nouveau European and American markets, Pasta Fresca transitions from a predominantly “takeout” space to a 75-seat restaurant. The keen use of space planning is an especially strong attribute here, with the “eye” creating a larger image than afforded by the space. This was accomplished by using multi-directional lines, uniquely connecting a flow pattern from floor, ceiling to walls. The room “expands” as you travel, subtlety guided by the lines.
